i found these pictures from last summer at the coney island mermaid parade and fell in love with my friends all over again. awww. it was one of the funnest days of summer. summer!!!!!!!!! now get your act together new york and stop this rain.

The mermaid parade is the best! I was in it one year as a glamorous lobster. By the end I was sunburned, and wanted water. New York 1 asked me as we scooted by on our "float" and asked "why are you so sad mermaid?" and I said "I am not a mermaid, I am a lobster" and held up my opera length lobster claws and started opening and closing them.
